ILSC is a member of the Council of Organizations (COO) of the United Nations Association of the USA (UNA-USA), whose Executive Committee is chaired by Aaron Etra, with Rick Flath also serving, We work with the UN, WHO, and other international organizations, as well as with public and private sector stakeholders to develop effective collaborative activities,
International Conferences on the Mechanism of Action of Nutraceuticals (ICMAN)
Since 2001, ICMAN has held international and local meetings in Croatia, Austria, the U.S., Israel, Australia and Scotland. ICMAN brings together leaders in research, medical/healthcare practice, industry and regulation in a unique cross-disciplinary approach to focusing on the latest developments in science-based and tested research and the promise for prevention and therapy. ICMAN conferences focus on natural compounds, colloids and products that can play an important role in therapeutics. Cancer, Diabetes and Neuro-Degenerative Diseases (ALS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s) are among the continuing focuses, along with aging, obesity, children’s and women’s health concerns and chronic challenges to global health and wellness. A leader in highlighting relevant developments in genetics, ICMAN encourages applying new insights to product development and medical/health/wellness practices.
